This allowed her to work as the student therapist with the Acadia varsity women’s rugby team for two years, providing on-site first aid and helping rehabilitate athletes after injury from sport. It was within this role that she took a strong interest in helping athletes treat and manage their injuries and decided to pursue physiotherapy.

Since finishing school, she worked in private orthopedics in St. Johns, NL. While she loves orthopedics, she has always had a strong interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy and has since completed my Pelvic Health Levels. She is thrilled to be teaming up with Pelvico and to begin treating individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction. She has a particular interest in the treatment of persistent pain and looks forward to obtaining more advanced pelvic health physiotherapy certifications in this area.

Her approach to rehabilitation is exercise-focused, and she encourages patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation. Her treatment style is hands-on, with individualized exercise prescriptions and a focus on patient education. She also implements a combination of dry needling, manual therapy, and soft tissue techniques to assist patients in getting back to their regular activities as soon as possible.
